And we’re done!!! THANK YOU so much to everyone who came & supported the tour – total superstars the lot of you! This run of gigs contained some of my favourite ever shows & it was an honour to play them to such enthusiastic audiences. Thank you too to all the promoters and venues who booked us.
Last but not least, a HUGE thank you to the wonderful Lack of Afro band, whose hard work & commitment was completely amazing throughout – Elliott Cole on vocals & guitar, Harry Harding on drums, Matt Carter on keys, Craig Crofton on saxophones & Gary Alesbrook on trumpet. Honourable mentions to Emma Noble & Gemma Bott for guesting on the vocals and Malcolm Strachan & Rory Simmons for stepping in on the trumpets.
I’m utterly exhausted but so eternally grateful to be able to do this for a living! Now it’s back to the studio to write the next album which will (hopefully) be out later this year..! Thanks again. Adam X
I’m incredibly honoured to be included in the BBC 6 Music ‘Albums Of The Year’ Longlist 2016! To be in such amazing company is very humbling & I’m incredibly grateful to everyone for all the support & especially to everyone at BBC 6 Music for getting behind the album. Thank you!!!
You can check out the full list of 30 here.

Very happy to say that ‘Take You Home’ (featuring Joss Stone) was used in a recent episode of ‘Shameless’ in the US (Showtime).
Thrilled to announce the release of my new single ‘Take You Home’ which features the amazing vocal talents of Grammy-award winner Joss Stone. On the flip is ‘Fires Glow’ which features a rising star of the modern soul & mod scene: dancer, model, singer (and LOA Records recording artist) Emma Noble. Soulful music at its finest y’all!
‘Take You Home‘ is out now on LOA Records – formats are ultra-limited signed & numbered 7″ single (edition of 30, already sold out), limited edition 7″ single (selling fast), and a digital EP which features an instrumental version of ‘Take You Home’ as well as mad decent remixes of ‘Fires Glow’ from label artists Flevans & Pocketpoet.
ABC have used my track ‘P.A.R.T.Y’ (featuring Wax & Herbal T) as the soundtrack for their latest promotional campaign in the US entitled ‘How Much Funny Can You Handle?’. Check out the video here & head over to iTunes here to download the track!
A huge thank you to everyone who braved the mud for my DJ set at Glastonbury in Arcadia on Friday night. It was incredibly special as it was my very first Glastonbury Festival & I’m still recovering! What an amazing place it is.
In other news, ‘Hello Baby’ has now broken into the Top 10 ITunes ‘R&B/Soul’ charts in 13 countries worldwide. Massive thanks to all who’ve parted with their hard-earned cash & invested in what I do. I couldn’t do it without your support! New album is underway…
Finally, the Lack of Afro live band are touring up until December – if you haven’t checked us out then I highly recommend doing so, as the band contains some incredible musicians! Check out the tour page here for all live dates. Adam X
