Album release & Radio 2!
It’s all happening now…
Hey all,
It’s been a while but I’m happy to announce that “Press On”, my debut album will be released on 24th September on both CD and LP on Freestyle records.
The single “When The Sun Goes Down” b/w “Spooky” will be out a week before on 17th September on 7”, also on Freestyle.
On the subject of “Spooky”, it was played by Mark Lamaar on his God’s Jukebox show on BBC Radio 2 last Friday night. You can listen to the show again here (from about 6 minutes in – I think he liked it..)
As a result of this I’m very proud to announce that I’ve been asked to record a live session for Mark Lamarr at the legendary Maida Vale studios on 18th September. Tracklisting and broadcast date to be confirmed when I have it…can’t bloody wait!

These are 2 tracks that I’ve re-worked – one by Nicole Willis (ATC) called “A Perfect Kind Of Love” for a remix album (which will include one by Mr Scruff amongst others). It features drums and guitar by Mike Bandoni, aka Funk Shone (Skyline). The other is by newly signed Freestyle and ex-Tru Thoughts beatsmith Diesler and is called “Restless”, featuring Testament. Check ‘em out, both different but both heavy as always!
