Album update
That time again…
Alright peeps,
It’s been well over a month so it’s time for an update…
Firstly, the LOA album (entitled “Press On”) is nearly there – in fact I’ve only got one track to complete, then it’ll be down to choosing the final tracklisting and getting it mastered. A sneak preview of my cover of the Arctic Monkeys track “When The Sun Goes Down” can be found on my myspace page here.
I’ve finished remixing the New Mastersounds’ “Land of Nod”, and am half way through re-working “Idle Time”. One of these will appear on the forthcoming Record Kicks album “NMS Re:mixed”. Eyes peeled for that…
Finally, the Lack of Afro band will be coming to a town near you! I’m in the middle of finalising the line-up to play some live dates in suppport of the release of “Press On”. Confirmed on drums is Mike Bandoni, former Acid Jazz session man and currently the force behind the awesome Funk Shone. Hear his work right here.
Starting off in Bournemouth on August 31st, I’ll keep you posted with further dates as and when I have them…
Oh yeah, and there’s a new chart too…
