Update
Here’s how it is at the moment…
Hi all,
Just a quickie to let you know about forthcoming Lack of Afro releases, as well as a couple of other bits n bobs…
First up, my deep funk remix of “Perfect Kind of Love” by soul singer Nicole Willis is out now on ATC Records. Available on CD as part of the “Nicole Willis Remixed” album, which also features a remix from Mr. Scruff. Buy it here
Secondly, my remix of The New Mastersounds “Land of Nod” is included in Soul Shaker Volume 4. Released on Italian label Record Kicks, it’s out on 12th November on CD and LP. Visit the Record Kicks website here
Sticking with Record Kicks, I have produced an album for US soul band The Diplomats of Solid Sound. Release date is unconfirmed as yet, but is likely to be before Christmas. I have also remixed their track “Hurt Me So”, for a 7” release. Two for the Christmas stocking I think…
I have also just completed a remix for an act on London-based Jalapeno records, called Soopasoul. The track is called “Brand Nu”. I’ll post release details as soon as I get them.
There are a couple of other remixes in the pipeline which I’ll post at a later date!
But that’s not all…
I have been interviewed by nationwide dance music magazine i-DJ this month for a small feature on my album “Press On”. Available in all good newsagents now.
As well as that, there’s another interview with those good peeps at Rant magazine. Check it here
If that wasn’t enough, there’s also an interview with me on the marvellous Casserole Radio Show. Hear it here
That’s about all for now, happy halloween!
Stay well (and that includes you, Arnold)
Adam x
